Holiday Party brings food, prizes and more to library
JACKSON, Tenn. – The Jackson-Madison County Library held the 11th annual Holiday Party on Thursday.
Members of the community gathered in the Program Center room to listen to holiday classics performed by musicians from the Jackson Symphony and celebrate with each other for the holidays.
The celebration included food, drinks, and door prizes. Everyone left with their very own Christmas stocking.
Dinah Harris, the Director of the Jackson-Madison County Library says she had a very giving family so she loves this time of year to share with others.
“My heart just feels like it’s bursting full of joy just seeing people get their bellies full, get prizes, and just knowing that we care and that they matter to us,” Harris said.
Food and prizes were provided by library staff and Friends of the Library.
