Man convicted of aggravated stalking, violating order of protection

GIBSON COUNTY, Tenn. — A man was convicted on Thursday of aggravated stalking and violating an order of protection.

According to District Attorney General Frederick Agee, Eric Herndon was convicted in the Circuit Court of Gibson County.

Agee says that Herndon, even after an order of protection, “continued to harass his ex-wife, and on May 28, 2023, he intentionally went to her house to further intimidate her and her son.”

Agee says that Herndon “has additional pending charges against the same victim for Domestic Assault, Violation of an Order of Protection, and Stalking that occurred on separate incident dates.”

Herndon will face sentencing on April 5, 2024.

The district attorney said, “The District Attorney’s Office of the 28th Judicial District respectfully thanks the service of the jurors for holding the defendant accountable for his continued harassment and domestic abuse of the victim in these cases. We also thank the Medina Police Department for their diligent efforts in the investigation and prosecution of this matter.”
