GALLERY: 214 fruit boxes gifted to sheriff’s office
MADISON COUNTY, Tenn. – Local law enforcement received the fruit of their labor.
Wednesday morning, a group of five local Baptist churches brought Christmas joy to the Madison County Sheriff’s office.
They delivered 214 fruit boxes for every certified officer. It was part of their Christmas blessings.
This is the seventh year of this event which was started by Antioch Baptist Church.
“Sheriff Julian Wiser and our command staff is just thrilled to have all of our guys being able to get a great gift for Christmas and not only here at the post, but also at the jail,” said Tom Mapes, the Community Outreach Leader for the Madison County Sheriff’s Office.
Participants expressed gratitude to the sheriff’s department for their protection and care.
