Union University hosts undergraduate Christmas tour

JACKSON, Tenn. – Union University held an undergraduate Christmas tour Thursday afternoon for the very first time.

During the event, potential students and their families were given a special tour of the university.

They also enjoyed holiday refreshments, gifts, and the opportunity to meet Union University President Dr. Dub Oliver.

Director of Campus Visits, Amanda Chenault tells us what makes their president stand out at events like these.

“One of our core values here at Union is that we’re people-focused. And I think that that really shows in the way that our president relates to our students, our potential students. The relationship is really special between our president and the students. He knows our students by name, he knows their stories. And from the very early on process, just coming to visit campus, he wants to get to know them,” Chenault said.

This event was held for students who have already been accepted to the university as well but may not have gotten a chance to tour the campus yet.
