Jimmy Dale (Booker) Smalley

Jimmy Dale (Booker) Smalley passed from this life December 15, 2023 surrounded by family. He was born November 6, 1959 and lived his life in Hardeman County Tennessee. Jimmy made his living as a heavy equipment operator and truck driver. He was a skilled mechanic and handy man who was always willing to use his skills to help others.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Marlin Lavern Smalley and Ruby Luttrell Smalley; his brothers, Dwaine Smalley and Richard Smalley; his sister, Dianne Smalley Mumford; and nephew, Howard (Howie) Mumford III.   

Jimmy is survived by his brother, David Smalley (Barbara); his sister, Denese Smalley; his brother-in-law, Howard Mumford Jr.; his nieces, Sara Smalley and Bridget Smalley; and his nephew Mark Smalley. 

Jimmy will be mourned and deeply missed by his family as well as a host of beloved friends.  

A Celebration of Jimmy’s life is planned for Saturday, December 30, 2023 from 2 to 5 P.M. at the Middleton Community Center located at 400 South Main Street in Middleton, Tennessee.  All friends and family are invited to attend.
