Live nativity scene to be Saturday on North Royal Street
JACKSON, Tenn. – New St. Luke Missionary Baptist Church is inviting everyone to come see their Christmas display.
The church has a live nativity scene as well as a drive-thru Christmas light show for all to enjoy.
This is the first time the church has put on a live drive-thru nativity scene.
They say they wanted people to remember the reason for the season.
“We wanted to let it be known that Jesus is the reason for the season. We all know that Christmas is Christmas and the presents and all that stuff. But the real reason that we are here on Christmas Day is because of Jesus,” said Rickey, Hutch, the coordinator of the live nativity scene.
You can see the nativity scene and lights for yourself on Saturday night starting at 6 p.m.
New St. Luke Missionary Baptist Church is located at 1670 North Royal Street in east Jackson.
