Jerry Rose
1937 – 2023

Jerry Aston Rose, age 86, resident of Oakland, Tennessee
and husband of Kathy Kemp Rose, departed this life
Thursday evening, December 28, 2023 at Applingwood
Healthcare Center in Cordova, Tennessee.
Jerry was born September 4, 1937 in Jackson,
Tennessee, the son of the late Rev. Virgil Aston Rose and
Johnnie Lucille Scott Rose. He served his country in the
United States Air Force Reserves and was employed as a
salesman for different companies before his retirement.
Jerry was a former resident of Memphis, Tennessee
before moving to Oakland. He loved being with his family
and enjoyed hunting and golf.
Mr. Rose is survived by his wife of 40 years, Kathy Kemp
Rose; his daughter, Chrystine Thomas (Steven); his son,
Patrick Rose (Brandy); his sister, Emily Hubbard (Larry);
and two granddaughters, Kalyn Davis and Kyra Davis.
