WEB EXTRA: Confetti test ahead of New Year’s Eve in New York City’s Times Square
(CBS Newspath)—CONFETTI TEST: Preparations for New Year’s Eve are underway in New York City. The Times Square Alliance held its annual confetti drop test on Friday (12/29). 3,000 pounds of multicolored confetti will be released to ring in 2024, including wishes people contributed to the New Year’s Eve Wishing Wall in Times Square and via the Virtual Wishing Wall.
