Free haircuts being provided to kids 13 and under
JACKSON, Tenn. – Barber School One is having an ongoing free haircut event.
Located at 77 Carriage House Drive, the event started Wednesday and goes through January 8.
Friday and Saturday will go from 8 a.m. to noon while Monday goes from 9 a.m. until 4 p.m.
This is the third year of this event which has youth looking sharp as they head back to school.
“We give back to the community or whatever so they can, you know, take a little burden off the parents or whatever. Anybody 13 or under or whatever, we offer free haircuts,” said Lamar Hobson Jr., the instructor.
The only request? Make sure the child’s hair is clean when they arrive.
