UPDATE: Man wanted in Crockett County captured without incident
UPDATE:
The Crockett County Sheriff’s Office says Preston Young has been captured without incident near Siloam Road.
The update on Facebook says that Young will be appearing before Judge Paul Conley in Crockett County General Session Court.
The Crockett County Sheriff’s Office expressed their appreciation for several law enforcement agencies who assisted in the search, including the the Jackson Police Department and their helicopter, the Dyer County Sheriff’s Office, the Bells Police Department, the Tipton County Sheriff’s Office, the Crockett County Sheriff’s own dispatchers, among more.

CROCKETT COUNTY, Tenn. – The Crockett County Sheriff’s Office is searching for a man they say is armed and dangerous.
Starting around 6 p.m., the sheriff’s office issued a warning via Facebook to residents to secure their cars and lock their homes as the search for a man, later identified as Preston Young, began.
The sheriff says that as of 9:15 p.m., the search is still underway for Young.
The sheriff says that Young is facing three counts of aggravated domestic assault.
Via Facebook, the sheriff’s office also reports that he is wanted on “several felony charges.”
The post says he was last seen on “Siloam Road without shoes or a shirt.”
The sheriff says that they do not have a file available on Young, so they are unable to report his age at this time.
The sheriff says that their search is being aided by the Tipton County Sheriff’s Office, US Marshals, the Jackson Police Department, and the Bells Police Department.
