2024 Tennessee River Rendezvous set for April 12-13

SALTILLO, Tenn. – A rendezvous is set to bring the sounds of musket fire from the Seven Years’ War, the clash of Union and Confederate in the Civil War, and the heroics of American GIs in World War II all into one event.

On April 12 and April 13, the 2024 Tennessee River Rendezvous will return!

From the 2023 Tennessee River Rendezvous

Each day will be free for everyone to enjoy. There will be impersonations of famous historical figures like George Washington; event showcases of historical eras such as Vietnam, Mountain Men, and more; vendors, cooking, period weapons, fire starting, stories, competition shooting, camp life, and more!

Saturday will also include reenactments of the French and Indian War, also known as the Seven Years’ War from the mid-1700s, the American Civil War in the early 1860s, and World War II from 1939 to 1945.

The only portion of the event that will require a ticket will be the Historical Candle Light, set for April 12 from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Tickets will be available soon on the Hardin County Tennessee Tourism site.

The Tennessee River Rendezvous will be at Smith Farms at 215 Ashley Road Highway 69 in Saltillo.
