Cheryl Williams
Cheryl Williams, age 65, passed away peacefully on Sunday, December 24, 2023, at the Crestview Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Brownsville, TN. A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, January 6, 2024, at 11:00 AM at the Lea & Simmons Funeral Home in Brownsville, TN with Pastor Lawrence Pirtle officiating.
Cheryl Williams was born on April 20, 1958, to the late Stanley Williams, Sr. and Freddie Mae Bryant. She confessed her faith in Christ at an early age at St. John MB Church in Dancyville, TN.
Cheryl graduated from Haywood High School in 1976. She was employed at Autozone in Brownsville, TN as a manager for well over 20 years until her health started to fail. She never met a stranger. She was a loving and kind spirited person who loved her family, her friends, and co-workers. Cheryl was known for her loving smile. She loved her family more than one could measure and has touched all of their lives.
Cheryl was preceded in death by her parents, Stanley Williams, Sr. and Freddie Mae Bryant; her brother, Stanley Williams, Jr. She leaves to cherish her precious memories her sons, Doyle (Carissa) Williams of Murfreesboro, TN and Kenneth Williams, Sr. of Jackson, TN; two grandsons, Davonte Williams of Antioch, TN and Kenneth Williams, Jr. of Ripley, TN; three step grandchildren, Cawaderia Prewitt, Samareia Woods, Wadarrius Woods, all of Murfreesboro, TN; two step great-grandchildren, Ariah Prewitt and Kylan Vining both of Murfreesboro, TN; two sisters, Linda (Ernest) Smith and Callie Sue (Joseph) Robinson, both of St. Louis, MO; one special friend, Helen (Jerry) White of Brownsville, TN. Cheryl also leaves to cherish her memories nieces, a nephew, cousins, and their relatives and friends.
The family wishes to express their love and appreciation for the many acts of kindness shown during their hours of bereavement. It will never be forgotten. Thank each of you from the bottom on our hearts. May God continue to bless each of you!
