Missouri man pleas guilty to second-degree murder
GIBSON COUNTY, Tenn. — A Missouri man has pled guilty to second-degree murder in Gibson County.
According to District Attorney General Frederick Agee, Richardo Munoz, 34, entered a guilty plea to serve 40 years at 100 percent in the Tennessee Department of Corrections for the murder of Hannah Gierer in Trenton on June 30, 2022. She had been his girlfriend.
“Our hearts go out to the Victim’s family and friends. This was an avoidable violent domestic matter that resulted in the death of Hannah Gierer. Violent crime is our office’s highest priority. We will continue to focus on removing violent offenders from Crockett, Gibson, and Haywood counties,” Agee said.
