Drug Task Force announces arrest, drug seizures in Trenton, Dyer County
TRENTON, Tenn. — The West Tennessee Drug Task Force (28th, 29th, 30th Districts) assisted in two drug seizures on Monday.
According to the task force, an operation on Monday in the parking lot of Food Rite in Trenton resulted in the seizure of 50 grams of “ice,” 30 fentanyl pills, 30 gabapentin pills, and a small amount of marijuana, all believed to be for resale.
The task force confirms one female was arrested, but did not identify the suspect.
Also on Monday, the task force says they were assisted by the Tennessee Counterdrug Task Force in serving a search warrant in Dyer County.
The search took place at a home in the 1000 block of McCullough Chapel Road, where agents seized more than three ounces of meth, around 2.5 pounds of marijuana, 14 weapons — two of which were stolen — scales, ammunition, and other property.
According to the task force, one male, whose identity was not shared, is being sought for multiple felony drug and weapon violations.
