Williams Announced as Head Football Coach for Humboldt Vikings Football

(Humboldt, TN, January 10, 2024) – Humboldt City Schools Athletic Director, George Yarbro announced  today Mr. Hayden Williams has accepted the position as Head Football Coach of the Humboldt Vikings  Football program. Williams leaves the Head Coach position at Bolivar Central High School where he has  coached for the past three seasons. During his three seasons at Bolivar, Williams has grown the  program from a 3-7/3-8 season to a 6-4 winning season. Additionally, under his leadership at Bolivar, the program has added a new scoreboard, new uniforms, and new weight training equipment.  

Mr. Williams is a graduate of North Side High School in Jackson and received his degree in Exercise  Science and Physical Wellness from Tennessee Technology University in Cookeville, Tennessee. He is  currently working toward his M.S. in Sport Administration from Arkansas State University. Williams has  also held the position of assistant football coach at Avery Trace Middle School and Trousdale County  Schools. While at Trousdale County Schools, he also held the position of Head High School Baseball  Coach.
