Hardin County Fire raises awareness on heat lamp risks after animals killed
HARDIN COUNTY, Tenn. — First responders are bringing awareness to heat lamp risks following the death of two animals.

According to the Hardin County Fire Department, firefighters responded to a reported goat shelter on fire late Wednesday evening.
The fire department says a small shelter made from pallets was destroyed and two goats were killed.

According to the department, this marks the second fire caused by a heat lamp in the area within the past month.

Hardin County Fire says if you use a heat lamp, make sure that they are secured tightly with bolts or screws, and not just clipped on with the provided clamp.
