Lanita Jacobs Morford
Lanita Jacobs Morford, age 61 of Jackson, passed away on January 10, 2024.
She was born on June 1, 1962 in Lauderdale County, TN to Robert Gordon and Mona Patton Jacobs. She was a retired Registered Nurse who worked for 20+ years at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital in various departments.
She is survived by her children, Keri Elizabeth Morford of Bells and Jacob Weston Morford (Rachael) of Jackson; her grandchild, Ronan Terry Morford; her parents, Gordon and Mona Jacobs; and her brother, James Robin Jacobs (Teena); her nieces, Emily Stewart (Jeff) and Caroline Armstrong (Steven); and three great nephews, Houston and Holden Stewart and Cash Armstrong.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, January 12, 2024 at 1 p.m. at the North Chapel of George A. Smith and Sons with burial following in Ridgecrest Cemetery. The family will receive friends beginning at 12 p.m., one hour prior to the service.
