Obion County Tourism hires Executive Director, announces Tourism Talk
The following is a news release from the Obion County Tourism Board:
[Obion County, Tennessee] – Obion County Tourism Board, Inc. is excited to announce the appointment of Executive Director, Caroline Partin. While a native of Henry County, Partin has developed strong roots in Obion County over the past six years. During her time attending the University of Tennessee at Martin, she interned with the Obion County Chamber of Commerce; providing her with a strong network of local business leaders and wealth of knowledge about the assets that Obion County has to offer. She now resides in the Woodland Mills / Crystal community with her husband, Lane, on their family farm.
“We are excited to have Caroline working on behalf of Obion County once again!” says Lindsay Theobald, CEO of the Obion County Joint Economic Development Corporation and Board Member. “She was a tremendous asset to our community and economic development efforts during her internship with us. She has become an impressive young professional with experience and enthusiasm, and most importantly, a passion for our community. I have no doubt that Caroline will be a joy to work with, but also a champion for Obion County Tourism efforts.”
In an effort to connect with local businesses and tourism partners, Obion County Tourism will be hosting its first Tourism Talk of the year. The organization makes a conscious effort to promote and advocate for Obion County as a whole, and strives to engage with representatives from all local communities. All county tourism stakeholders are invited to attend on Monday, February 5 beginning at 8:30 a.m. at the Obion County Public Library.
