Weigh-in held ahead of Black Tie and Boxing event on Saturday
JACKSON, Tenn. – Fighters in the Hub City go toe-to-toe in the ring this weekend.
The annual Black Tie and Boxing event takes place Saturday night at the Carl Perkins Civic Center.
Doors open at 5:30 p.m. for those with reservations and 6 p.m. for those in general admission.
Tickets for general admission cost $40.
In total, there will be around 15 fights total with a mix of mixed martial arts and kickboxing fights.
Friday night, they held the weigh-ins at Hub City Brewing to introduce the fighter.
“We have a myriad of amazing sponsors that have helped put this event on and a lot of volunteers from the Star Center and the community that have helped put this on so we’re very thankful because without them we wouldn’t be able to put it on,” said Nicole Russell, Manager of Development and Marketing for the Star Center.
This is the second year that the Star Center has hosted this event.
