Black Tie and Boxing event returns to Jackson
JACKSON, Tenn.—Ding! ding! Let’s get ready to rumble!
One local charity event brings out the gloves and the community.
The Star Center hosted their annual Black Tie and Boxing event.
This allows participants to duke it out in the ring while raising money to support the Star Center.
The proceeds go to helping those with disabilities.
MMA and kick boxing took place with hundreds of community leaders and guests present.
“It’s just a fun experience for everyone in the community, to get to come out and get to see something they don’t get to normally see and get to celebrate with the community,” said Nicole Russell, Marketing and Development, Star Center.
Food was also served to those in the V.I.P. area.
