Jackson police confirm early evening robbery at gas station

JACKSON, Tenn.–Authorities are investigating a robbery that took place at a local gas station in west Jackson.

We received a call from a WBBJ 7 Eyewitness News Tipster around 6 Tuesday evening, stating that a robbery happened earlier at the Mobil gas station on the Highway 45 By-Pass and Casey Jones Lane.

WBBJ 7 Eyewitness News spoke to officers with the Jackson Police Department who confirmed a robbery took place at that location and added that a suspect was in custody.

Investigators tell us the suspect is being questioned and that the investigation is ongoing.
