Weigh-in held for 2024 Hub City Fight Night
JACKSON, Tenn. – A weigh-in was held Friday night for boxers in preparation for an upcoming event.
The Hub City Fight Night will take place Saturday night starting at 8 p.m.
Organizers say the professional boxing event will be a six-round contest with professional boxers Darek Murry from St. Louis and Dan Abram from Kansas City, Missouri.
Proceeds from the event will go to help at-risk children as well as those with disabilities.
Organizers say this won’t be the last event like this to be held in the city.
“We plan to put on at least two or three more shows this year and really make Jackson, Tennessee a hub for professional boxing,” said Bryan Kaemmerer, a matchmaker.
General admission tickets can be purchased at Champs Event Center on Hollywood Drive for $35. Tables can be purchased for $300.
