JFD: No major injuries after truck impaled on guardrail

JACKSON, Tenn. — The Jackson Fire Department says there were no major injuries after a trucked became impaled on a guardrail near downtown Jackson.

The department says a mechanical malfunction caused a pick-up truck to veer off the roadway and become impaled on the guardrail outside of the Fire Training & Administration Building.

They say no one was in the passenger seat and the driver did not sustain any life threatening injuries.
