Friends organize ‘GoFundMe’ for Greenfield murder victim

GREENFIELD, Tenn. — Friends of a local woman are speaking out to honor a loved one who was seen as part of the family.

Krista Davis, also known as “Tata,” 43, of Greenfield, was found murdered in her home Sunday.

Close friends of Davis are saddened by the news of this unexpected tragedy.

“She was taken from us way too soon,” said a close friend.

They say “Tata” was like a sister to a lot of their friends and had a heart of gold.

“She would do anything for anybody at any point in time, and if this was one of us, she would be doing the same thing we are doing. Doing anything that she could to help,” said a close friend.

Friends of Davis have organized a fundraiser to help with expenses.

They are asking for donations to help the family give Davis a proper send-off.
