Suspect in Lexington Walmart shooting arrested
LEXINGTON, Tenn. — Police announce an arrest following a shooting at the Lexington Walmart earlier this month.

According to the Lexington Police Department, 21-year-old Jaylon Sanders was taken into custody Wednesday morning.
Police confirm the arrest is in connection to the January 13 shooting that injured a man in the store’s parking lot. A GoFundMe identified the victim as a Walmart employee.
According to Lexington Police, Sanders is charged with attempted first degree murder, attempted especially aggravated robbery, and possession of a firearm during the commission of a dangerous felony.
Police say Sanders will be arraigned on January 30, with a bond set at half a million dollars.
Records available online indicate he is currently in custody at the Henderson County Jail.
