Black Expo to be held for Black History Month
JACKSON, Tenn. – “History, business, and honor.” These are three words to describe the upcoming event for one entrepreneur.
Mary Sample, the owner of Famous Soul Food, is preparing to host her first Black Expo.
This event is for Black History Month and the goal is to be a blessing to other business owners to advertise their business.
There will also be authors present, selling their content and doing autographs.
This is a free public event that welcomes everyone to have a good time and learn about other business owners in the area.
There will also be refreshments and music present.
“It seems like most of the small businesses kind of have to try and find their way through to get to the franchise. So just stop by Famous Soul Food. The doors will open at 11:00,” Sample said.
The expo will be held at 1412 East Main Street in Humboldt. It will be February 3 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
