Union City Middle school basketball wraps up season with gold
We start things with the Union city middle school boys basketball team.
The Tornadoes won the class a division championship of the blue suede invitational
when they got the victory over Jackson Christian 42 to 39. Kobe Maddox came to play having 20 points,
and did not miss at the charity strike going 10 for 10. Maddox, Hollister Johnson, Will Kail, and Jack Theobald made all tournament squad.
The union city girls wrapped up their season as well, falling short to McKenzie in the championship game with a final of 43 to 34.They went 8 and 10 on
the season and Launer, Alli McMillan and Sophie Palmer Were voted to the all-tourney team.
