Horse-assisted therapy now available in Gibson County

MEDINA, Tenn. – A new business opens its doors in one local town.

Healing and Hope Reins held an open house Thursday night to showcase the services they have to offer to the public.

Those in attendance enjoyed refreshments while learning about the business’s counseling and equine-assisted therapy sessions.

Owner Emma Shoaf says she got the idea for equine-assisted therapy after working at another business where animals were used to assist patients.

Healing and Hope Reins is now open in downtown Medina, with the equine-assisted therapy held at a nearby farm.

You can schedule a session by emailing hhr@healingandhopereins.com.
