2024 Reagan Day Dinner held Thursday at Union University
JACKSON, Tenn. – Hundreds of local Republicans met Thursday evening for the annual Madison County Republican Party Reagan Day Dinner.
The event was held at the Carl Grant Event Center on the campus of Union University.
Local state and national leaders attended and spoke about the advancements of Tennessee while under Republican leadership.
Speakers included Congressman David Kustoff, US Sen. Marsha Blackburn, who attended via video, and the keynote speaker, and Tennessee Economic and Community Development Commissioner Stuart McWhorter.
Organizers say most of all the event celebrates the nation’s 40th president.
“Ronald Reagan represents so much of the good that happened in America and he was just a storied Republican, the great communicator. And we’re glad to be here tonight to celebrate his life and celebrate the good things the Republican Party is doing,” said Brad Greer, the Chairman of the Madison County Republican Party.
The money raised will support Republican candidates and their campaigns.
Organizers say the Reagan Day Dinner is one of the largest annual fundraisers for the Madison County Republican Party.
