Body of Charles Baldridge found, authorities confirm

OBION COUNTY, Tenn. – The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation confirmed that the body of Charles Baldridge was found Thursday morning. 

According to Obion County Sheriff’s Office Lt. Joe Key, Baldridge’s body was located by boat around 11:55 a.m. Thursday in Hoosier Creek.

Lt. Key says the body was located by Chief Deputy Matt Woods and Deputy Caleb Hayden, about 200 yards before the creek feeds into the Obion River.

Lt. Key confirms Baldridge’s family has been notified, and his body has been sent to the Medical Examiner’s office in Nashville to determine the cause of death.
