Boots and Bling held once again, letting women dance the night away
JACKSON, Tenn. – A Hub City Classic event returned after COVID-19 with a new purpose.
Boots and Bling had their 10th event that highlighted the importance of healthy heart care.
Previously, the event was for educating women. However, this year organizers of the event used it as a fundraising opportunity.
Over 500 women were in attendance to learn and support the cause. A portion of the proceeds benefits Friends of Heart Care.
Friends of Heart Care helps with placing AED machines across West Tennessee.
“My favorite part of this event is just to see women come together. All ages, all shapes, all sizes with different backgrounds and diversity. And just have a great time we’re just all here to celebrate life and to celebrate each other,” said Keena Kail, the Executive Director of the West Tennessee Women’s Center.
Women were able to apply what they learned on the dance floor by dancing the night away.
