Kizer Fire Protection acquired by Memphis company

HENDERSON COUNTY, Tenn. — A local business, which has served West Tennessee for more than a quarter century, is under new ownership.

Lexington-based Kizer Fire Protection has been acquired by State Systems in Memphis.

Kizer provides a range of fire protection products and services including fire extinguishers, kitchen suppression systems, emergency lighting, and kitchen vent hood cleaning.

The acquisition comes on the heels of the retirement of Tim and Linda Kizer, who founded the company in 1998.

Kizer’s two current full-time employees will remain on the team as State Systems employees to seamlessly continue servicing Kizer’s more than 1,300 customers.

The acquisition enables State Systems to expand its services across the West Tennessee region.
