Nathan Finch, Myranda Parr, Addison Kitchen, Colton Gary, Hannah Moon, Landon McAdams, Annie Burcham, and Foster Rodgers were all part of a two-day festival on the UTM campus.
The UCHS contingent joined more than 70 other students from various Northwest Tennessee High Schools.
In December, students submitted applications for the Honor Choir and were chosen to participate based on teacher recommendations by Dr. Mark Statler, assistant professor of music at UT Martin.
During the festival, students worked with collegiate conductors and professors on high-quality choral literature that culminated in a performance on Saturday, Feb. 3. They also were able to speak with current UTM music majors about their chosen field of study.
