Authorities ID body found at Henderson County home; autopsy underway

HENDERSON COUNTY, Tenn. — An investigation is underway into a death in Henderson County.

Tipsters alerted us to a body found over the weekend at a residence with a Beech Bluff address.

The Henderson County Sheriff’s Department confirms Myikca Leite was discovered deceased at a home in the 900 block of Britt Road.

Authorities say Leite’s body has been sent for an autopsy to confirm the exact cause of death.

According to the Sheriff’s Department, an investigation continues and interviews are being conducted with those who may have more information.
