BlueOval SK hiring roadshow kicks off in Brownsville
BROWNSVILLE, Tenn. — BlueOval SK is starting up their 2024 hiring roadshow in Tennessee.
The roadshow will be traveling to different communities in West Tennessee to share about BlueOval.
Their first stop took place today at Livingston’s Soda Fountain & Grill in Brownsville.
Human Resources representatives from BlueOval SK were available to answer questions about jobs and accept applications.
BlueOval SK’s battery plant at BlueOval City is currently under construction in Stanton, in Haywood County.
The $5.6 billion investment between Ford and SK will create 2,500 new jobs in Tennessee.
Construction is on schedule, with battery production slated to begin in 2025.
“Today we’re mostly focusing on our hourly production operator,” said Tyler Stegall, BlueOval SK Talent Acquisition Manager. “That is the position that we will hire the most of. Those are the folks who are actually making the product in our facilities.”
They are also promoting other hourly positions like maintenance technician, quality operator, and material handler.
For those who missed Thursday, members of the community and potential applicants are invited to attend an event an event Friday, February 16, from 7 in the morning to 1 in the afternoon at the same location.
