Local event unites a special group of women

JACKSON, Tenn.—A unique group of ladies gathered today to share a common bond.

Today from 3 to 5 this evening, the women’s clothing store, The Tall Fit hosted an event exclusively for women who are 5 foot 10 or taller.

The Heel & Wine Tall Girls event was created for women to come together to talk about their uniqueness and to also network with other tall women in a fun and relaxing environment.

The Tall Fit is a local women’s clothing store specializing in pieces for tall women.

“It’s also a place where you can relax and be yourself. You don’t have to worry about anybody judging your height or asking weird questions about your height and things of that nature– or making rude comments. It’s just something to build a community. I would love to build a community here,” said Dion Thornton, Creative Director at Tall Fit.

The Tall Fit is located at 541 Wiley Parker Road in Jackson.
