Sandra (Sandy) Faye Grimm

Sandra (Sandy) Faye Grimm, age 73, of Jackson, TN, went to be with the Lord on February 17, 2024 after bravely battling a long illness. She will be missed beyond words by all of her family and friends.

Sandy had a way of always making everyone feel loved and has cared for so many loved ones throughout her life. When you were with her, you could not help but feel the light she shined. She lived life fully and enjoyed a wide variety of things such as traveling, yardwork, going to the beach, playing cards, and cooking. She even had a love for numbers, so much so that she did income taxes for 30 years at H&R Block.

She was preceded in death by her father, W.D. Western, mother, Madgie Beal, step-father, Clint Beal, one sister, Kay Montgomery, one brother, Keith Western, and a niece, Denise Carol.

She was survived by her husband Tom (Thomas) Grimm, two sons, Don (Dena) Miller and Jerry (Mary) Miller, one daughter, Misti (Patrick) Kirk, 11 grandchildren, Cameron (Stephanie) Miller, Hunter (Mimi) Miller, Addi Miller, Jerry Miller, Jr, Calvin Bryant, Whitney (Dustin) Bryant, Raylene Bryant, Amanda Miller, Taylor Kirk, Keirsten McDavid, and John McDavid, and 5 great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends and loved ones on Tuesday, February 20, 2024 from 10:30 am – 12:30 p.m. at the North Chapel of George A. Smith and Sons.

Following visitation, an escorted procession will leave the funeral home for Highland Memorial Gardens where a graveside service will take place at 1:00 p.m.

The family requests that memorials in Sandy’s memory be directed to St. Jude Children’s Research Hosptial in Memphis.
