WRAP gearing up its largest annual fundraiser with ‘Denim and Pearls’ event
JACKSON, Tenn.–An upcoming event in the Hub City aims to help end violence, change lives, and give hope.
The Women and Men’s Resource & Rape Assistance Program also known as ‘WRAP’ is gearing up for the 11th annual ‘Denim and Pearls’ event.
It serves as WRAP’s largest fundraiser of the year, and will take place March 30 at the Carl Perkins Civic Center in downtown Jackson.
This year’s theme is “A Night in Paris,” with entertainment provided by the Emerald Empire Band.
The evening will feature dinner, dancing, and a silent auction, with proceeds going to support WRAP’s mission.
“We do have survivors that get to speak and share their stories. so that’s a really powerful part of the event. And then after we kind of celebrate their strength and success, we get out on the dance floor,” said Jenci Spradlin, with the Wo/Men’s Resource & Rape Assistance Program (WRAP).
A variety of sponsorship opportunities are currently available on WRAP’s official website.
