NASCAR vehicle joins grand opening for Jackson business

JACKSON, Tenn. — A business in the Hub City had their grand opening with some need for speed guests.

Starlight Fuel Shell Gas Station on Vann Drive opened their pumps to drivers in the Hub City on Wednesday.

Outside near their entrance, they had door prizes for guests.

Show car engineer, Todd Blevins, stopped by with a former NASCAR new generation Mustang.

This car was wrapped in the Pennzoil NASCAR colors.

Blevins says that since Pennzoil is owned by Shell, this was a great opportunity to celebrate the grand opening.

He also brought along a car simulation for visitors to enjoy.

“It brings in competition, you get a lot of buddies that will come in and look at the car and go, ‘I can do this, I can do that,’ well, we can put them on the sim and we can find out what they can do,” Blevins said.

He also shares that this car was formerly wrecked, but now is a show car for Pennzoil.
