There is a physical damage loan available to businesses, nonprofits, homeowners and renters in counties declared most affected.
This includes Cheatham, Davidson, Dickson, Gibson, Montgomery, Stewart and Sumner counties.
The deadline for the physical damage loan was February 12, but there’s a 15-day grace period, so you can still apply.
Adjacent counties that don’t qualify for the physical damage loan may qualify for the economic injury disaster loan.
“The economic injury disaster loan — that loan covers working capital for small businesses, agricultural cooperatives, businesses engaged in agriculture and nonprofits of all sizes,” said Timothy Watson, Public Affairs with the U.S. Small Business Administration.
These loans provide assistance throughout the disaster recovery period.
