Redemption Road Rescue host its Open Adoption Day

JACKSON, Tenn.—One local rescue is helping horse lovers fill their stables.

Redemption Road Rescue hosted its Open Adoption Day from 10 this morning until to 1 this afternoon.

The organization located at 130 Cooper Anderson Road in Jackson had fifteen horses available to adopt at the event.

The non-profit was founded in 2009 and not only rescues horses but also helps horse owners in need.

“You know rescuing them, there’s a lot of sadness, and things like that; a lot of hard work but when we’re able to get them homes and they get to have a happily ever after and a family of their own, that’s the best part. We’re matchmakers,” said Lori Collins, Director Redemption Road Rescue.
