Increasing Clouds Windy And Warm
Weather Update: Monday, February 26 —
Good Morning West Tennessee. We’re starting the morning off nice and mild. Temperatures are starting out in the mid to upper 50s. They will climb fairly quickly today thanks to strong southerly flow and dynamically thanks to the next weather maker taking shape out in the Plains. Winds will be sustained between 10-15 mph, gust will be around 25-30 at times. Clouds, mainly high cirrus at first will increase as the day goes along. We should easily warm into the upper 70s today, maybe even a couple locations pushing 79-80. Otherwise, clouds will take over by this evening, they won’t produce any widespread precipitation at first, though guidance has been a bit persistent developing few spotty showers after midnight Tuesday morning along a pseudo warm front. Either way, the main story Tuesday will be mild temps, cloudy skies and strong southerly gradient winds 15-25 mph, gust around 35-40 mph.
