The Ned Teen Theatre performs play for assisted living centers

JACKSON, Tenn. — Beware the ides of march, as teens of the West Tennessee area take a certain play on the road.

The Ned Teen Theatre will be performing Shakespeare’s “Julius Caesar” on the road.

Monday afternoon was their first performance of their tour.

These teens will be performing around Jackson at assisted living homes and schools in different counties.

Organizers say the idea for “Julius Caesar” is because this piece of work is a required read for so many students

“This is a tight adaptation it runs about an hour and fifteen minutes so plan to come see it you will be impressed with these young people and all the work they put into it,” said David McCall, Executive Director of The Ned.

And a cool part of this performance? Those who are in attendance will be able to interact with performers.
