JACKSON, Tenn. — Some motorists encountered a multi-vehicle wreck Thursday morning in east Jackson.
We were alerted by a WBBJ 7 Eyewitness News Tipster to the collision, which occurred shortly before noon near the intersection of Highway 70 East and East Main Street.
Our crew arrived to find an ambulance leaving the scene and Jackson Police directing traffic, along with a Jackson Fire Department truck on site.
A red Saturn and a light-colored Hyundai could be seen with heavy damage and airbags deployed.
Both vehicles were removed from the scene by tow trucks as crews worked to clear the scene of debris.
