Jackson Recreation and Parks unveils eventful lineup
JACKSON, Tenn. — Jackson Recreation and Parks has big plans for this spring and summer.
Jackson Recreation and Parks has a few events to be on the look out for in the upcoming months. From cornhole tournaments to summer camps, these events are for children of all ages and adults to all enjoy.
West Wood Summer Camp will be starting sign-ups as early as Monday March 11.
For seniors who may want to start working out every Tuesday and Thursday, starting at 10:30 a.m., there will be senior workout classes at the Westwood Recreation Center.
On March 23rd they will also have the Easter Eggstravaganza.
“So we’re doing a text alert option where if you’re wanting to receive information about upcoming events whether its athletics or community events, summer camps anything of that nature, you will have the opportunity to text and receive those messages,” said Whitney Billingsley, Community Engagement Director for Jackson Recreation and Parks.
