Discovery Park to host the Military Past, Present and Future Expo
PRESS RELEASE FROM DISCOVERY PARK:
Discovery Park is hosting its annual Military Past, Present and Future Expo on Friday, March 8th and Saturday, March 9th. This two-day event will feature a variety of programs and interactive activities that will interest the entire family. The expo will include presentations, demonstrations of military equipment and reenactments. You will also have the opportunity to experience our new temporary exhibit, “Vietnam, 2 Soldiers. 2 Artists. 2 Journeys. Then and Now.”

Friday, March 8th has been planned with students in mind and will provide both military and history-related content perfect for school groups. For student group information, email our education department at education@
These reenactors and vendors will be available throughout the museum and heritage park both days from 10 a.m.-5 p.m.:
- UT-Martin ROTC

- Veteran’s Center for Independent Living
- Tennessee Society Daughters of the American Revolution
- Wreaths Across America
- 52nd Regimental String Band

All active military personnel, veterans and their guests will receive free admission to Discovery Park on Friday, March 8 and Saturday, March 9.
The 2024 Military Past, Present and Future Expo is sponsored by Union City Coca-Cola and Dixie Gun Works.
