Century Farm Winery presents ‘Sips & Candles’
JACKSON, Tenn.—A local event invites guests to express their creativity, while enjoying a little vino.
Century Farm Winery hosted its Sips and Candles event today.
The event took place from 3 until 5 this evening and guests could enjoy sipping wine from Century Farm’s unique selection, while also trying their hand at candle artistry.
Tickets for the event were $65 dollars and along with a glass of wine also included the needed supplies to create eight beautiful candles.
Amanda Blankenship with Liberty Farm Apiary explains how they use natural ingredients to make the candles.
“We started in 2018, so we have a small apiary. It’s not huge by any means but we have our bees and they make honey and we also make beeswax candles. We started that about two years ago now,” Blankenship said.
Liberty Farm and Apiary provided the instruction for the candle making session.
