Convention draws comic fans to Brownsville
BROWNSVILLE, Tenn.—A unique convention draws comic fans to Haywood county.
This weekend pop culture and comic fans gathered at the College Hill Complex in Brownsville for the Haywood Comic Convention.
The convention was a two-day event featuring appearances and panels by various actors, authors, and cosplayers. Vendors were also there to sell unique pop culture items.
The event celebrated all kinds of TV shows, movies, video games, comics and other forms of entertainment.
Guests at the convention could also enjoy food, live entertainment, films or even participate in cosplay contests while there.
“This is our second year to present Haywood Comic Convention and we’ve just been really thrilled with the people who come out and are apart of it,” said Sonia Outlaw-Clark, Director of Visit Brownsville.
People of all ages could attend this event.
