WTDTF: Search warrant leads to drugs, weapons, and cash seizure
PRESS RELEASE: WEST TN DRUG TASK FORCE
On the evening of March 7th, 2024, agents with the West TN Drug Task Force’s 28th Judicial District assisted by the Gibson County and Humboldt SWAT teams served a search warrant at 66 Milan Hwy. in Gibson County pursuant to a drug investigation. The search warrant lasted into the early morning hours of March 8th as Agents processed a small U-Haul of evidence that was recovered from the home and shop on the property.

During the search warrant, agents seized 14 pounds of psilocybin ( the psychoactive drug within certain mushrooms), 9 pounds of marijuana and THC concentrate, nearly 1/2 ounce of methamphetamine, 2 ectasy pills, an arsenal of 83 weapons to include a prohibited fully automatic machine gun and silencers, more than $186,000.00 in suspected drug proceeds, a 2013 Jaguar, a 2020 Can-Am motorcycle and drug paraphernalia.
Drug Task Force Director Johnie Carter said, “This search warrant had the potential to escalate quickly with the arsenal that was seized and that makes me proud of my Agents and our partnering agency SWAT teams for their dedication and professionalism in bringing this investigation to a safe and successful end.” Carter added that it takes a village to make these cases and that is the beauty of the Task Force.

Christopher Faulkner, 44 of Gibson County was arrested and is being charged with numerous counts of the following: Possession of Schedule I, II, and VI with intent to manufacture, deliver or sell, Possession of a weapon during the commission of a dangerous felony, maintaining a drug location, Possession of a prohibited weapon, money laundering, simple possession of schedule I and possession of drug paraphernalia. He remains in the Gibson County Jail in lieu of a $250,000.00 bond and the result of a bond source hearing brought by the 28th District Attorney General, Frederick Agee’s office.
