UTM debuts exciting gaming lounge for students

WEAKLEY, Tenn. — One local university is providing some entertainment for its students.

The University of Tennessee at Martin’s new e-gaming lounge is now available for students, and it has plenty of activities for them to enjoy.

The room was opened just for the students and is available for use between 8:00am and 8:30pm, daily, to enjoy all of the different things that they have.

They have six different gaming pc’s that the students can use.

Those come with a monitor, a keyboard, a mouse, and a headset.

There are also several gaming consoles, such as 2 PlayStation 5’s and 2 Xboxes.

There are three TVs that the students can use.

There is also a large speaker in case they want to listen to music while they are playing the games.

If you like old arcade games, you are not left out. They have an arcade machine as well that you can sit down at.

Two people can play at once, and there is a vast array of older arcade games available.

The school says they look forward to hosting gaming tournaments soon.
